Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus) is an extremely important resource for the Inuit of Nunavut, who use it extensively for subsistence fishing and, in a few communities, for commercial purposes. My work integrates genomics, populations genetics, and acoustic telemetry techniques to better understand patterns and consequences of dispersal and migration of Arctic char to better inform management.
